At the 1851 census, Richard was apprenticed to Richard JACKSON, which is a name that keeps cropping up... Richard's elder brother Ashton b 1832 and his little sister Rachel b1841 both had JACKSON as a middle name. His younger brother William married Ann Elizabeth JACKSON in 1860.
According
to PN, Richard NELSON refaced the Welton church clock in 1873.
