| Annie's parents were George William McPHERSON and Jane Eliza STEWART - her parents were Stewards from Suffolk - believe some connection with Oliver Cromwell. Jane came from a very large family, one of 14 it is believed, and George we know little about at present except he worked predominantly on the water. (AH) | ||
